What is Microblading?
Microblading is an artful technique designed to enhance eyebrow shape and fullness. Rooted in ancient shading methods, this approach gained popularity in Asia for its feathering or weaving pattern, which mimics the look of real hair. Today, Microblading is celebrated worldwide as a specialized form of eyebrow tattooing that uses a manual hand tool for incredible precision.
The process involves a pen-like tool with 12-18 fine needles arranged on a sloped blade. These ultra-fine needles gently scratch the skin’s surface, depositing featherweight strokes of high-grade pigment into the epidermis to create natural, realistic hair-like strokes.

- Before taking a Microblading Semi Permanent Make Up course students should call their local/State Board Health Department to check on the local law/requirements of Microblading in their town and state.
- A Blood Borne Pathogens Exam is required and passed before taking this class. It’s (or employees whose occupations expose them to blood and/or other potentially infectious materials. In order to practice on live models you must take this exam and show your certificate. Please visit here to take this exam if you haven’t done so. If you need help with this exam please don’t hesitate to contact me.
- Students are not required to stay the entire day on Live Model practice. You may be dismissed once you’ve finished your session.
